In the recent weeks, I went to two most-memorable poetry readings.
One for ‘Crossover poems’, Max Mueller Bhavan, curated by the very sensitive and remarkable Sanket Mhatre. Here on the same stage, listening to Marathi poetry that brought social change, my English-mouthing jaw hung in amazement.
Enjoyed the riveting Hindi poetry by Saurabh Jain and Mohinder Pratap Singh. The gulmohar will never be the same again.
Thank you Ankita for pioneering so much at such a young age.
Was lovely meeting Meera Acharekar, Hitesh Shi, and I forget that wonderful cake-chef’s name…
