My lamp is literature, so my Diwali is all about a poem ‘Disquiet’ from Four Degrees of Separation, that got aptly translated to Marathi by the ever-perceptive Sanket Mhatre.
This poem read in two languages at an effervescent gathering of Marathi poetry, which also happened to be celebrated poet Arun Mhatre’s birthday.
I am stoked with hangovers of this immersive evening in Upvan, listening to rich Marathi poetry, poem-songs and stories-before-poems, holding Ranangan.
Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali with your lamps of love, light, literature, and laughter!
