Launching The Best of Asian Short stories, with Kitaab International, Singapore

At Singapore Writer’s Festival, it was a mesmerizing evening.

I read a snippet from my short story, ‘Chit Mahal (The Enclave)’ and listened on to excerpts of other stories. This launch was half hour long, but it was so well moderated by Pallavi Narayan.

With Saritha Rao, Farouk Gulsara, Thierry Deschain, Khalid Hasan. the spectacular Monideepa Sahu (editor), and the most warm and encouraging publishers Zafar Anjum and Shabana Zahoor.  Also, to all other fellow writers in the anthology who couldn’t make it to Singapore.

I was so heartened to share stage with Saritha Rao – my literature-, letter-, & life-friend for 10 years.
