A few elements we’ll be concentrating on:
a. Words that work well in prose, but are too tedious for poetry.
b. In haiku: two disparate images – one from nature, one from existential know-how.
c. In haibun: a narrative of an epiphany embodied in concise phrases that bring out the uniqueness of your style and voice.
