Heta Pandit is a mesmerizing person. Fun and easy-going. She obviously doesn’t carry the burden of the success of the ten books she has written, aimed at bringing to light the art, culture, and history of Goa.
Living in Goa for 26 years, she co-founded Goa Heritage Action Group dedicated to the advocacy of preservation, conservation, and restoration of Goa’s natural, built, and cultural heritage.
Her lovely newsletter The Saligão Balcão, Edition Twenty Seven mentions Coins in Rivers as the Book of the Month. She was gracious enough to be in conversation with me over my book launch at The Dogears Bookshop earlier this June.
